The Nicole Berg Effect: Bold Leadership, Real Impact

Co-Founder, Uncorporate | Premier Executive Coach | Award-Winning Leadership Strategist | Driving Bold Change with Real Impact

Meet Nicole Berg
Nicole Berg, MSc, CPCC, PCC, FRSA, is an award-winning executive coach and the Co-Founder of Uncorporate. Known for her bold approach to leadership and culture transformation, Nicole partners with global organizations to unlock human potential and drive meaningful change. With deep expertise in coaching, systems thinking, and emotional intelligence, she brings a rare blend of vision and precision to the future of work.

In an era of automation, rapid disruption, and mounting workplace pressure, Nicole Berg is asking the questions others won’t: What if we’re already free? What would we do differently?

That reflection, shared in a widely appreciated LinkedIn post, speaks to the heart of Nicole’s mission. She challenges conventional narratives about productivity, pressure, and performance, urging organizations to rethink the systems that govern human work. It’s not about fixing people; it’s about transforming the environments they work in.

From boardrooms to grassroots campaigns, Nicole brings a powerful clarity to complexity. She is known for turning deep insight into tangible, lasting results. “You gave us what we wanted, and what we didn’t know we needed,” said one client — a line Nicole carries with pride, and a promise she continues to deliver on.

Nicole’s roots are grounded in service, advocacy, and empathy. Long before founding Uncorporate, she served in frontline roles supporting marginalized communities, including as Crisis and Services Director at a family violence intervention agency and as Executive Director of the Charis Community Trust. These early experiences forged her unshakable commitment to people-first leadership.

A lifelong learner, Nicole holds an MSc in Social Policy and Development from the London School of Economics, a BA in Linguistics from the University of Saskatchewan, and multiple coaching credentials, including Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and Certified Executive Coach. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), a designation awarded to individuals driving impactful societal progress.

Since launching her coaching practice in 2015, Nicole has worked with more than 350 senior executives, high-potential leaders, and cross-functional teams across Fortune Global 10-500 companies. Her client portfolio spans industries as diverse as biotechnology, technology, finance, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, and government. Organizations like Euronext, The National Trust, and the Royal Institute of British Architects have turned to Nicole for guidance on leadership strategy, performance, and organizational culture.

Her reputation is built on delivering outcomes that matter. A recipient of 13 national and international coaching and consulting awards, she has also served on the Editorial Advisory Board of Coaching at Work, where her columns on gender balance and relationship dynamics have earned national acclaim, including two shortlistings for Best Series or Article.

Nicole’s coaching is as strategic as it is deeply human. “She’s very real and called me out on making excuses… balanced with being kind and fun,” recalled a client in international development.

“Working with Nicole was uplifting, and a good kick up the bum.”

Nicole doesn’t just coach leaders, she builds ecosystems of change.

At Uncorporate, the company she co-founded in 2025, she helps organizations rethink human systems to thrive in the age of AI, automation, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The firm offers evidence-based strategies for leadership development, culture design, and talent innovation, merging academic rigor with practical application.

Outside corporate walls, Nicole continues to drive impact at the community level. In 2022, she launched The 500 Club SK, a social giving initiative that mobilized residents in Saskatchewan to donate $75,000 in government relief cheques to local charities. In 2024, she spearheaded a call-in campaign that reached 84% of constituencies and contributed to renewed government-union negotiations — a testament to her ability to blend strategy, empathy, and advocacy at scale.

Nicole Berg envisions a future where leadership is measured not just by profit, but by people, how they grow, feel, and thrive within systems designed to support them.

Her voice is part strategist, part systems thinker, part provocateur. Whether speaking on stage at the Women in Mining and Women in Nuclear conference or guiding executive teams behind closed doors, Nicole delivers a consistent message:

“Innovative organizations create conditions for innovation. That means time to create, expectation to create, and freedom to take risks.”

Today, Nicole continues to serve as President of the ICF Prairie Chapter, advancing professional coaching standards across Canada. She’s also raising awareness about chronic illness through public dialogue, including a recent radio appearance with her daughter, exemplifying how she leads with both strength and vulnerability.

Her belief? Everyone is going through something. If not now, then soon. And that is precisely why empathy is a leadership imperative, not a luxury.

Nicole Berg’s impact spans systems and souls, C-suites and communities. Her work reminds us that the boldest leadership doesn’t come from control, it comes from courage.

As organizations grapple with complexity and change, Nicole offers a blueprint not just for surviving disruption, but for leading through it. Her legacy is unfolding in real time and its effect is unmistakable.
