Meet Shiraz Baboo from the Greater Toronto Area, Canada.
A Reality Interventionist™ and founder of Energetic Magic Inc., Shiraz works at the intersection of systems thinking, belief dynamics, and human behavior.
His work helps leaders, entrepreneurs, and coaches change outcomes by addressing the unseen patterns shaping their decisions and results.
Early Foundations: Education and Curiosity for Systems

Shiraz Baboo’s professional journey began with a deep curiosity about how systems work—both technical and human. He pursued an Honours Diploma in Computer Programming and Analysis at Sheridan College, where he developed a strong foundation in structured thinking, problem-solving, and design logic. During these formative years, Shiraz was drawn to understanding how individual components interact to create larger outcomes, a theme that would quietly follow him throughout his career.
His early interests extended beyond code. Storytelling, creativity, and user experience fascinated him just as much as databases and architecture. This blend of analytical and creative thinking would later become one of his defining strengths.
Entering the Workforce: Technology, Games, and Leadership
Shiraz’s first professional chapter unfolded in the world of technology and interactive media. He began working in software development and systems analysis, eventually holding senior and principal consulting roles with Oracle Australia. There, he led teams, designed enterprise applications, migrated legacy systems, and mentored emerging talent. His work required precision, accountability, and the ability to deliver under pressure.
As his career progressed, Shiraz moved into game design, interactive media, and project leadership, working with studios such as Immersion Studios, I-mmersion, and R.M. Productions. He served as a technical lead, project manager, and designer, overseeing multidisciplinary teams of developers, artists, and writers. His responsibilities ranged from UI and database design to narrative development and team management.
Colleagues consistently noted his calm presence, technical depth, and ability to bring people together. One former collaborator described how he could “see simplicity where most see complexity,” a skill that made him effective across both creative and technical environments.
During this period, Shiraz also wrote and published the novel Defenders of the Scroll, further reflecting his long-standing interest in narrative, meaning, and human motivation.
A Shift in Direction: From External Systems to Internal Ones
Despite professional success, Shiraz began questioning a deeper pattern he observed—not just in himself, but in the people around him. He noticed that effort and strategy alone did not always produce consistent results. Some individuals worked tirelessly yet remained stuck, while others seemed to move forward with far less strain.
This curiosity led him inward.

As Shiraz explored personal development, energy-based modalities, and belief systems, he began to connect the dots between unconscious patterns and external outcomes. Over time, this exploration evolved into professional practice. He transitioned away from full-time technical leadership and began working as an intuitive coach and energy facilitator, eventually founding Energetic Magic Inc.
His approach was shaped by both worlds. From technology, he brought structure, testing, and systems thinking. From coaching and energy work, he brought awareness, observation, and behavioral change.
As Shiraz often explains,
“What if your success, or lack of it, has less to do with what you’re doing and much more to do with what you believe?”
Building Energetic Magic and Defining Reality Addiction
Defining Reality Addiction: Why Mindset Alone Isn’t Enough
As Shiraz Baboo deepened his work with clients, he began to notice a recurring pattern. While many experienced meaningful breakthroughs, a certain percentage struggled to create lasting change despite doing “everything right.” This inconsistency prompted a deeper investigation into why insight and mindset shifts were not always enough.
What Shiraz uncovered was that behavior is not driven by belief alone—it is often reinforced by the body itself. He observed that people can become chemically and physically attached to their circumstances, even when those circumstances are unwanted. The body, conditioned over time, seeks familiar emotional and biochemical states, creating a pull back to the same outcomes. Shiraz termed this phenomenon “reality addiction.”
Rather than seeing repeated patterns as failures of discipline or mindset, he recognized them as addictive loops fueled by chemical rewards in the nervous system. Stress, struggle, urgency, and even self-sabotage can deliver predictable biochemical “hits,” making change feel uncomfortable or unsafe on a physical level.
As Shiraz explains, “Changing behavior isn’t just about adopting new habits. It’s about breaking an addiction to the chemical rewards of your current reality.”
Once he began treating behavioral tendencies not merely as habits to replace, but as addictions to unwind, his work evolved. He incorporated strategies to help clients navigate the withdrawal symptoms that naturally arise when familiar emotional states disappear.
When the body is no longer chemically anchored to old outcomes, new choices become accessible. Clients reported that results arrived faster, felt more natural, and—most importantly—lasted.
This understanding of reality addiction became a defining pillar of Shiraz Baboo’s work as a Reality Interventionist™, reshaping how transformation is approached at its core.
Author, Speaker, and Ongoing Impact
In addition to his client work, Shiraz is a multi-award-winning author and international speaker. His writing and speaking focus on helping individuals recognize how they may unknowingly recreate struggle—and how to interrupt that pattern. His message resonates strongly with leaders and entrepreneurs who value self-awareness as much as strategy.
Today, Shiraz continues to lead Energetic Magic Inc. while expanding his reach through speaking engagements, podcasts, and educational programs. His career reflects an uncommon throughline: a commitment to understanding systems, whether technical architectures, creative narratives, or the beliefs that quietly shape human behavior.
From software and game design to coaching and Reality Intervention, Shiraz Baboo’s journey illustrates how analytical thinking and inner awareness can coexist—informing a body of work grounded in experience, observation, and intentional change.
The Nectar of Wisdom from Shiraz Baboo’s Journey
- Systems shape outcomes—whether technical or human—and lasting change happens when the system itself is addressed, not just the symptoms.
- “What if your success, or lack of it, has less to do with what you’re doing and much more to do with what you believe?”
- Unconscious beliefs quietly influence decisions, visibility, income, and leadership behavior, often without awareness.
- “Determination alone isn’t always enough when deeper patterns are driving your actions.”
- Sustainable growth emerges when internal alignment supports external strategy, rather than working against it.
