The Quiet Continuity of the Soul
At first glance, the career of Françoise Prandi appears to be a vibrant, eclectic mosaic. It stretches from the high altitude service of international aviation and the rhythmic energy of London’s DJ booths to the structured complexity of the rail industry. Yet, beneath these diverse chapters lies a quiet continuity. It is a journey defined not by the roles she held, but by a relentless pursuit of emotional truth and the belief that human connection, when made tangible and simple, can fundamentally change how we live and lead.
For Françoise, wellbeing is not a corporate initiative to be implemented. It is a space to be held. As the founder of My Mindful Cards®, she has transitioned from a high stakes corporate environment at Network Rail to a mission driven entrepreneurship that bridges the gap between the boardroom and the family home.
Her philosophy is grounded in a singular, powerful realization: “Emotional wellbeing is not an individual responsibility to carry alone… connection, when made tangible, simple, and human, can change how we live, parent, and lead.”
Learning the Language of Loneliness
The seeds of Françoise’s career were sown in an environment that appeared, to the outside world, to be the height of glamour. Working as cabin crew for Japan Airlines, she experienced the freedom of global travel and the novelty of a dream role. However, behind the luxury, she encountered a deep, unexpected loneliness.
This period of her life became a profound education in the invisibility of emotional struggle. Being constantly surrounded by people did not equate to feeling emotionally held, leading her through periods of low mood and depression that she lacked the tools to name at the time. This experience sensitized her to a universal truth: emotional needs are most easily overlooked in environments that appear high functioning on the surface. Determined to find those missing tools, she began a 30 year journey of study, including training in biomedicine and nutrition at the CNM College of Naturopathic Medicine.
Humanizing the Infrastructure
Françoise’s professional ascent found its most significant theater within Network Rail, where she spent over eight years navigating the intersection of culture and performance. Rising to the role of Wellbeing Executive Coach and Business Improvement Lead, she was tasked with supporting a diverse community ranging from frontline workers to senior engineering leads.
During this time, her academic and professional credentials grew to match her lived experience. Funded by the organization, she earned an ILM7 (Masters level) Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring from Oxford Brookes University and became an accredited NLP practitioner. At Network Rail, she proved that wellbeing is not an add on but the very system itself. She moved beyond frameworks to focus on emotional safety, believing that when people feel trusted and understood, accountability and performance naturally follow.
The Intergenerational Ripple Effect
Today, as the founder of My Mindful Cards®, Françoise’s impact extends far beyond the workplace. The tool began as a relational practice with her own children, designed to give them the language and permission to express their emotions before they unlearnt them through social self censorship.
This intergenerational lens now informs her corporate work. She recognizes that the emotional patterns we model at home directly influence how we collaborate at work. By supporting parents through life transitions and providing workshops that share practical wellbeing tools, she helps organizations mitigate the risks of burnout and attrition. Her work is a testament to the fact that supporting humanity is a long term investment in resilient culture.
The Warrior of Light
Françoise is often described by those who know her as a “warrior of light”. This is a reflection of her commitment to creating spaces where individuals can reconnect with their own clarity and self trust. Her approach is intentionally participatory. She rejects the idea of fixing people in favor of helping them listen to their own internal signals.
Her unconventional background, including her time as DJ La Twinkle in London’s club scene, is not a separate life but a layer of her current wisdom. It taught her about timing, readiness, and the emotional tone of a room. These are skills she now uses to design experiences that invite reflection rather than mere compliance.
She notes: “When people are trusted to find their own answers, ownership follows naturally.”
Leading with Intuition
Looking ahead, Françoise remains deeply immersed in reflective practices like Human Design and the Gene Keys, which continue to inform how she leads. Her vision is one where intuition and embodied experience are not seen as alternatives to corporate frameworks, but as the very things that allow those frameworks to succeed.
She continues to challenge the results driven status quo by advocating for a slower pace that allows awareness to surface. For Françoise, the legacy of leadership is not found in metrics, but in the sustainable truth of how we hold one another’s humanity.
Editorial Note
Françoise Prandi’s journey reminds us that the most powerful professional tools are often the ones we discover within our own lived experiences. From the skies of Japan to the boardrooms of the UK, her path is a call to action for leaders everywhere: to prioritize emotional literacy and to remember that we do not arrive at work in isolation from our lives. Her story invites us to reflect: Are we creating cultures where people feel safe enough to be human?
