The Architect of Aligned Leadership: The Journey of Adis Sophie Frémont

For many high-achieving executives, the climb up the corporate ladder is often navigated on “autopilot,” a state where success is measured by titles and market share rather than personal resonance. Adis Sophie Frémont reached the upper echelons of global sales and innovation, only to realize that the most complex “wicked problem” she needed to solve was not a supply chain bottleneck or a marketing strategy, it was the design of a life that fully integrated her professional power with her personal purpose.

Today, as the founder of Beyond Boundaries and a leading facilitator of the Designing Your Life (DYL) methodology in the Netherlands, Adis Sophie helps leaders transition from mere management to intentional creation. Her journey is a testament to the idea that career transitions are not disruptions, but vital evolutions toward a more authentic and impactful way of leading.

Adis Sophie’s career began with a rigorous academic foundation, earning a Master’s in International Commerce from ESCE and further honing her business acumen at the Universidad Europea de Madrid. This international perspective was deepened by a semester at Tsinghua University in China, providing her with a truly global lens through which to view the world of trade and innovation.

Her early professional years were spent mastering the complexities of the commodities and materials sectors. From managing sales for the French and Spanish markets at Vinmar International to navigating global product development, she developed a reputation for being both a visionary and a pragmatist. Former colleagues noted her unique ability to balance the big picture with meticulous detail.

"Adis Sophie is a person with strong ownership. She sees and can address everything from the big picture to the details. She is creative, energetic, and solutions-oriented... a great asset to any company." — Alicja Pres, Sales Manager

This period was defined by a rapid ascent through leadership roles, yet beneath the surface, a commitment to collective growth and sustainability was already beginning to take center stage.

As Adis Sophie transitioned into the specialty materials and chemicals industries, her focus shifted toward the intersection of business growth and environmental responsibility. At Eastman Chemical Company and later as an Ecosystem Engagement Manager at Avery Dennison, she became a bridge between corporate strategy and sustainable innovation.

Her work wasn’t just about selling products; it was about building relationships that fueled transformational change. She worked closely with top-tier cosmetics and beverage brands to solve challenges related to circular economy and sustainable packaging. Even while managing high-stakes innovation efforts, she was drawn to the human element of the workplace.

The defining catalyst for her current path occurred during her third sabbatical. Rather than treating the break as a pause, she used it as a laboratory, interviewing entrepreneurs and corporate leaders to understand the barriers to growth. She realized that her greatest energy didn’t come from the transaction itself, but from the facilitation of growth, helping others break mental barriers and approach challenges with a design-thinking mindset.

"Adis played a pivotal role during a critical phase in the development of our startup. Her insights and strategic guidance not only brought fresh perspectives... but also significantly contributed to shaping how we communicate our value." — Deniz Y., Founder

In 2024, Adis Sophie channeled her 15+ years of experience in sales, marketing, and innovation into the founding of Beyond Boundaries and Designing Your Life – Netherlands. Based in Amsterdam, she now facilitates transformational workshops and retreats that empower leaders and teams to navigate change with agency and clarity.

Adis Sophie’s approach is rooted in the five-step Design Thinking process—a methodology born at Stanford and traditionally used for product innovation. She applies this same rigor to the human experience, teaching leaders to use “prototype conversations” and ideation to solve the “wicked problems” of career and life transitions.

“The most critical shift is awareness, of who you are, what you truly want, and how those elements interact with the reality of the world around you,” she notes, emphasizing that many professionals find success yet feel a profound misalignment between their roles and their values.

As she looks toward 2026, Adis Sophie is expanding her impact by launching a dedicated cohort for Women Leaders. This initiative aims to create a community of reflection where leaders can integrate both traditionally masculine and feminine energies to lead with balance, courage, and integrity.

Adis Sophie Frémont’s mission is to move leadership beyond the outdated models of the past. She envisions a future where professionals don’t just “survive” their careers but actively design them to be a source of fulfillment and systemic positive impact.

Her legacy is one of agency, empowering the next generation of international professionals to navigate uncertainty not with fear, but with the tools of a designer. By combining evidence-based methodologies with her own story of corporate transition, she proves that when we align our work with our core values, we don’t just achieve more; we become more.

Adis Sophie Frémont’s journey from industrial strategist to transformational coach serves as a blueprint for the modern executive. Her story reminds us that the most significant growth often happens when we dare to step off the “autopilot” path and design a life that is as innovative as the industries we lead.
