Former MedTech CEO turned Conscious Leadership Mentor, helping executive women bridge the fulfillment gap and lead with sovereignty through The Alchemy of Fulfillment™
In the high-stakes world of executive leadership, success is often measured by the relentless pursuit of “more”—more growth, more scale, more impact. But for Crystal Trevors, a seasoned leader who spent 13 years at the helm of a medical technology firm, there came a moment where the external metrics of achievement no longer matched the internal frequency of fulfillment. It wasn’t a crisis of capability, but a “moment of reckoning”—a realization that the very identity which built her success could no longer sustain the woman she had become.
Today, as a Conscious Leadership Mentor, Author, and the creator of The Sovereign Woman Protocol™, Crystal guides executive women through that same threshold. She sits at the unique intersection of science, business, and energetic alignment, helping leaders move from performance-driven pressure to a state of “Sovereign Leadership” where power is not a burden, but a natural expression of inner coherence.
Adaptability Born in Motion
Crystal’s journey into leadership began long before she entered a boardroom. As the daughter of a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, her childhood was defined by transition. Moving frequently—including a formative chapter living on the Baden-Soellingen Air Force Base in Germany—taught her that “home” was not a static location, but an internal state of readiness.
“Constant change taught me adaptability early on,” Crystal reflects. “I had to learn how to walk into new environments and find my footing, how to meet people quickly, and how to stay open and curious when everything around me was unfamiliar.” This comfort with uncertainty became the bedrock of her professional life, allowing her to navigate the complexities of the MedTech industry with a calm, flexible authority. Even her earliest forays into the workforce reflected a grounded work ethic. From earning $4.00 an hour at a local ice cream shop to the “genuine thrill” of a twenty-cent raise at K-Mart, Crystal learned early that every role provides a lesson in presence and connection. These experiences eventually led her to the Wallace McCain Institute’s Entrepreneurial Leaders Program and a career built on strategic advisory and high-level innovation.
From Data-Driven CEO to Intentional Leader
For over a decade, Crystal served as the Founder and CEO of Stepscan Technologies, a company at the cutting edge of mobility measurement and gait analysis. Under her leadership, the firm moved from med-tech manufacturing into integrated care delivery, scaling across North America. She was the quintessential high-achiever, navigating fund-raising, business planning, and complex expansions.
However, after 13 years in the space, the “fulfillment gap”—the quiet space between outward achievement and internal alignment—began to widen. She realized that while she was performing at a peak level, the “performance-based success” model eventually fractures the system holding it.
During this transition, Crystal received a simple, direct guidance that would change the trajectory of her career: Live Joy. Not as a reward for hard work, but as a diagnostic truth. This realization prompted her to shift from managing technology to mentoring humans. She founded Live Joy Coaching and Consulting, integrating her CEO experience with a proprietary energetic methodology called The Alchemy of Fulfillment™. Her work now focuses on dissolving the “earned-worthiness” trap and restoring the internal authority of executive women who have outgrown the traditional ways of succeeding.
Mentorship, Authorship, and “Spirituality Amplified”
Crystal’s impact extends beyond the individual to the collective. Her work is a call to recalibrate how power lives inside the modern leader. She has become a vital voice for women navigating the “internal split” between their professional roles and their authentic selves. Through her mentorship, she helps leaders realize that clarity and emotional regulation are no longer personal luxuries—they are strategic assets in a world of constant complexity.
This philosophy is further explored in her book, Lingerlust: Your Guide to Spiritual Awakening, Inner Healing and Fulfillment, and her newest venture, Spirituality Amplified. Co-created with three partners, the latter is a space where spirituality is elevated into a tool for real-world transformation.
Sarah Elaine Lewis, PhD, a sustainability leader who worked with Crystal, notes: “Crystal coached me through one of the most challenging decisions I have had to make in my life… She is deeply connected with her intuition, making her guidance authentic and effective.” Crystal’s leadership philosophy is perhaps best captured by two quotes she holds dear. The first, from Thich Nhat Hanh—“The way out is in”—serves as her spiritual compass. The second, a piece of practical wisdom from a former mentor—“When you dig yourself into a hole, throw away the shovel”—highlights her commitment to radical self-awareness. Together, they represent her unique blend of spiritual depth and executive pragmatism.
Leading Without Armor
As Crystal looks toward the future, her focus is on helping the next generation of leaders—specifically Gen Z—understand the value of radical honesty and “real” community. She often challenges audiences to lean into “awkward conversations,” viewing them as the training ground for true trust and leadership.
Her legacy is one of restoration rather than mere improvement. For Crystal, the next level of leadership isn’t about more effort; it’s about deeper coherence. She remains a beacon for those who are ready to lead without armor, pressure, or self-override, proving that when a leader aligns their internal frequency, their external impact becomes limitless.
“My work is about helping leaders evolve from the inside out,” Crystal says, “so their success is not only sustainable, but aligned with who they’ve become.”
Editorial Note: A Call to Sovereign Leadership
Crystal Trevors’ journey reminds us that the most significant growth often happens after we have already reached the “top.” Her transition from MedTech CEO to a mentor of “sovereign leadership” serves as a roadmap for any executive feeling the weight of their own success.
