Decoding the System: Rahdric C. Dix’s Mission to End the “Information Tax”

Founder, The Goods Virtual World | Architect of Decision Infrastructure | Transforming Information into Agency through Experiential Learning & Systems Thinking

In the industrial landscape of Gary and Merrillville, Indiana, leadership isn’t defined by a title on a mahogany door; it is defined by the grit to show up and the integrity to stay. For Rahdric C. Dix, this Midwest upbringing was more than a biography—it was a masterclass in the “unvoted taxes” of life. He observed early on that the divide between success and struggle often had less to do with talent and everything to do with access to the right information at the right time. Today, as the Founder and CEO of The Goods Virtual World, Rahdric is translating those early lessons into a digital ecosystem designed to ensure no one is ever taken advantage of by a system they do not yet understand.

The Sales Floor as a Leadership Lab

Rahdric’s professional philosophy began not in a boardroom, but on the sales floor of a local Champs Sports at age fifteen. While his peers saw a part-time job, Rahdric saw a “leadership lab” where he learned that in any system—whether retail or corporate—you either learn to connect with people or you struggle to survive. This early exposure to human behavior was later refined by a rigorous academic path, earning a Bachelor of Public Health from Indiana University Bloomington and an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University. These years solidified his core belief that sustainable success is built on strong systems, not just big ambitions, often noting that “You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.”

From Corporate Strategy to Systemic Change

Before revolutionizing experiential learning, Rahdric spent over a decade navigating the complexities of large-scale corporate infrastructure. His tenure at La-Z-Boy Incorporated and Joybird saw him rise into high-level executive leadership, eventually serving as a Regional Sales Manager and Chair of the company’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Council. Managing expansive teams and driving performance across diverse markets gave him a panoramic view of how institutional power operates. He saw firsthand that talent is universal, but opportunity is often locked behind “the way things have always been done,” a realization that allowed him to see the cracks in the ceiling and the gatekeeping of information that kept everyday people from reaching their full potential.

Architecting the Future of Decision-Making

In 2024, Rahdric pivoted from managing existing systems to building entirely new ones. The Goods Virtual World was born from a radical premise: What if you could experience the consequences of a life-altering decision before you actually made it? Through immersive VR simulations like “Full Ride,” Rahdric is helping student-athletes navigate the “Wild West” of the NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) era. By allowing users to face cameras, navigate fine print, and see the long-term financial outcomes of a contract in a virtual space, he is providing a systemic weapon against exploitation. His impact extends into the healthcare sector with the GoodHealth Chronic Navigator, a tool designed to help patients bypass the “Chronic Tax”—the structural monetization of illness—and transform from passive consumers into what he calls “Sovereign Users.”

A Legacy of Compounded Character

As Rahdric looks toward the future, his focus remains on building an infrastructure of clarity. His message to the next generation is a departure from the “hustle culture” of social media, urging them instead to shift their gaze toward long-term substance. He often advises young leaders: “Do not chase attention. Chase understanding. Learn how systems work, how money moves, and how decisions are made behind the scenes. Skills compound. Knowledge compounds. Character compounds. If you focus on those three, opportunities will follow.” Through The Goods Virtual World, Rahdric C. Dix is ensuring that the “Region” work ethic he was raised with—consistency, humility, and service—is baked into the very technology that will define the next century of human agency.

Editorial Note

Rahdric C. Dix’s journey is a testament to the power of systemic thinking over fleeting ambition. From his roots in Indiana to his role as a tech visionary, he has consistently sought to level the playing field by making the “invisible” visible.
