Dr. Timogi: Helping Organizations Build Stronger Leaders and More Connected Teams

In workplaces across corporations, nonprofits, municipalities, and educational organizations, one question continues to shape Dr. Timogi’s work: “How are your people doing?” It is a simple question, but one that has guided more than two decades of leadership development, coaching, customized training, and personal empowerment work. Based in the United States, Dr. Timogi is the owner of Create & Facilitate, LLC, where she helps organizations strengthen leadership, communication, emotional intelligence, and team performance through customized learning experiences designed for real-world application. As a corporate trainer, executive coach, retreat facilitator, and author, her work exists at the intersection of personal growth and organizational development, helping individuals and teams better understand people, purpose, and motivation.

Widely recognized for her practical and interactive approach to learning, Dr. Timogi creates training experiences that move beyond presentations and into transformation. Across every stage of her career, her mission has remained consistent: “Taking People and Organizations From Elusive to Empowered.”

Learning Early That People Matter

Long before she became known for customized training solutions, leadership development, and executive coaching, Dr. Timogi was building a foundation rooted in communication, organization, and human connection. Her educational path reflects the same themes that now define her work: leadership, empowerment, and personal growth. After attending Brooklyn Technical High School, she continued her education at Bennett College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Cross-Disciplinary Empowerment Strategies. She later earned a Master of Arts in Human Services with a concentration in Executive Leadership from Liberty University before completing a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Care at United Cornerstone University.

That educational journey was never isolated from real-world experience. Early in her career, Dr. Timogi worked as a Fulfillment Coordinator at DeHerb Mathematics, where she hired and supervised staff, processed payroll and reports, and served as a liaison between the company, school administrators, parents, students, and principals. The role placed her at the intersection of communication, accountability, and relationship management. It also introduced her to the realities of working with people across different environments and expectations.

Even in those early professional experiences, the consistent thread was clear: understanding people mattered just as much as understanding processes.

Building Empowerment Through Human Connection

One of the most defining chapters of Dr. Timogi’s early career came during her years at The Women’s Oasis, where she served as Assistant Director from 2005 through 2012. Her responsibilities extended across event planning, logistics, budgeting, media communication, social media management, and promotional development. She coordinated informational sessions, managed advertising outreach through Facebook, Twitter, and email, and produced company materials including brochures, business cards, banners, and letterhead.

But beyond the operational responsibilities, something more meaningful was taking shape.

At The Women’s Oasis, Dr. Timogi developed empowerment curriculum focused on personal development, goal setting, conflict resolution, and team building. She worked directly with individuals navigating challenges in their personal and professional lives while teaching strategies designed to move people from intention into action.

Those years became foundational to her leadership philosophy. She saw firsthand how growth requires more than motivation. It requires support, accountability, communication, and environments where people feel heard and understood.

That understanding would later become the cornerstone of her training and coaching work.

Creating a Different Approach to Workplace Training

In 2013, Dr. Timogi founded Create & Facilitate, LLC, a company dedicated to customized training solutions for corporations, municipalities, educators, nonprofit organizations, and private businesses. Rather than offering generic workshops, she focused on creating learning experiences tailored to the needs of individual organizations and teams. Her work expanded into leadership development coaching, mediation services, keynote speaking, professional development, retreat facilitation, and one-on-one coaching. Organizations could select topics relevant to their workforce while Dr. Timogi and her team prepared and facilitated customized training materials for both virtual and face-to-face learning environments.

The structure of her programs reflected her belief that training should be practical, interactive, and applicable to real workplace situations. Her offerings ranged from two-hour workshops to half-day trainings, full-day sessions, multi-day intensives, and long-term training series designed to create sustainable growth over time. That philosophy appears clearly in one of the central messages connected to her work: “Taking People and Organizations From Elusive to Empowered.”

Dr. Timogi’s methodology incorporated scenario-based learning, group exercises, guided discussions, and interactive activities that encouraged participants to apply concepts directly to workplace challenges. Follow-up sessions reinforced learning while helping organizations build what she describes as a continuous learning culture. Her approach also addressed issues many organizations struggle to navigate internally, including conflict management, customer service and de-escalation, written communication in the workplace, organizational change, and generational differences within teams.

Throughout her work, one question continued to guide her philosophy: “How are your people doing?”

Expanding Leadership Beyond the Workplace

As her reputation grew, Dr. Timogi expanded her mission through The Timogi Empowerment Network, LLC, launched in Lexington, North Carolina in 2016. The organization focused on helping leaders increase their influence by improving their understanding of people, purpose, and motivation.

The network became an extension of the coaching and empowerment work she was already building through Create & Facilitate. Through workshops, consultations, and leadership development programs, she worked with entrepreneurs, organizations, small business owners, and individuals seeking both personal and professional growth. Her services also expanded into retreat facilitation and Life Coach Certification coursework designed for leaders interested in becoming certified life coaches across various specialty areas.

The emphasis remained consistent: helping people strengthen communication, leadership, and self-awareness while creating healthier environments within teams, workplaces, and relationships. That commitment became especially visible during her years as a Corporate Trainer at Sage Garden Care Center from 2017 through 2022. There, she developed and maintained customized training solutions while serving as a TEAM strategist focused on helping organizations build stronger and more cohesive teams.

She facilitated professional development workshops on leadership, diversity, emotional intelligence, and team building while also providing individual and group coaching for people navigating workplace, relationship, and personal challenges. The themes of empowerment and growth also became central to her videos and free resources. In presentations such as Is it Time to Move in Your Life?, she explored the difficult moments when people recognize that where they are may no longer align with where they need to be. In another resource, she addressed a direct question many organizations and individuals continue to ask: What is empowerment? Her work consistently reinforced one idea: organizational success is deeply connected to human connection.

Authorship Rooted in Growth and Purpose

Alongside her coaching and consulting work, Dr. Timogi also established herself as a published author focused on empowerment, emotional development, and purposeful living. Over the years, she realized that many of the conversations happening inside training rooms extended far beyond the workplace. Questions about purpose, relationships, emotional growth, and personal accountability eventually found their way into another part of her work: writing. Her books include Activation Required: Reconnecting To Your Purpose, Pack Light!: Packing With Your Purpose In Mind, Empowered People Do: 30 Principles In Action to Enhance Your Life Right Now, Your Dream Needs A Team: Self-Made is An Oxymoron, I’m A Lady And A Woman: Embracing The Essence Of Your Femininity, I’m Not Angry: 21 Emotional Words to Use While Adulting, Name Your New Journey, and the Hey Sis With Love series.

Across each project, she explores themes connected to growth, accountability, relationships, emotional awareness, and purpose-driven living. Her writing mirrors the same practical and reflective approach that defines her training work.

In her public and video resources, she continues asking thought-provoking questions like “Is it Time to Move in Your Life?” while encouraging people to examine whether their environments still align with where they need to go.

Looking ahead: A Vision Centered on People

Today, Dr. Timogi continues leading Create & Facilitate, LLC while providing customized training solutions, executive coaching, mediation services, certifications, and leadership development programs for organizations and individuals across multiple industries.

Her work remains grounded in communication, empowerment, and practical growth. Whether facilitating workshops, coaching leaders, developing curriculum, or writing books, she continues helping people better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and improve the environments where they live and work. For Dr. Timogi, leadership has never been about titles alone. It has always been about people.
